What would be your top priority if elected?
To plant more trees and flowers.
What percentage increase should state employees, school staff and teachers receive in the next state budget?
Tough question for a libertarian, but everyone deserves a decent raise in return for their hard work. With inflation skyrocketing, it would be ideal to get a raise to offset the inflation rate.
What legislation would you support to improve the Triangle’s transportation, housing or infrastructure? Please be specific.
With Wake County being so popular, rising property values are inevitable. We must avoid the path that Raleigh has taken – using zoning laws to limit vast areas to single-family homes only – which means teachers, police, firefighters and other first responders cannot afford to live where they work.
Do you think the Legislature should fund approximately $500 million for private school vouchers through the Opportunity Scholarship program? Why or why not?
No. I don’t believe in taxes, but I’m glad there are choices other than public schools.
Is there an issue on which you disagree with your party? What is your position on this issue?
Not really, no.
