A 63-year-old man was fatally struck by an SUV driver at a busy intersection in Brooklyn, police said Monday.
The victim was standing on Broadway at Myrtle Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant when he was struck by the driver of a Chevrolet Suburban around 10:15 a.m. Sunday, police said.
According to police, the driver was traveling east on Broadway and had a green light.
Medics rushed the victim to Woodhull Hospital, where he later died. His name was not immediately released.
The 41-year-old driver of the Suburban remained at the scene and was not immediately charged.
