A man is facing federal charges after allegedly committing a dozen armed robberies in the Dayton area in a month.

Timothy Farr, 43, of Dayton, was indicted by a federal grand jury on 12 counts of interference with commerce by threat of violence and 12 counts of use of a firearm during a crime of violence.
Farr has been accused of pulling out a gun at 12 gas stations, convenience stores and drive-thru stores in Dayton, Riverside, Trotwood, Springfield, Green Township and Cincinnati in December, according to the office of Kenneth L. Parker, United. State’s Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio.

News Center 7 previously reported that Farr was charged in eight of those robberies. The Justice Department said the robberies at Family Dollar in Trotwood and Springfield, the White Oak Deli in Green Township and the United Dairy Farmers in Cincinnati were added when he was charged.
Investigators were able to identify the vehicle used in the robberies using the Flock Speed ​​Camera System.
When Dayton police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle, a red 2011 Ford Taurus, Farr was sitting in the front passenger seat and wearing the outfit described in the armed robbery case. He is also accused of carrying a 9mm handgun in his waistband.
