Peachtree City police say it happened at two different stores on the same day.

Within minutes of that call, police received another call from Walmart’s security team on Highway 54.

“Three separate female shoppers said they felt they had been inappropriately touched by a person in their store while shopping,” said Lt. Chris Hyatt of the Peachtree City Police Department.

Four women reported being violated that day.

Researchers told Channel 2’s Veronica Griffin it was all done by the same man, Isaiah Jamal Phillips, 28, of Fayetteville.

Police say his actions were captured on surveillance cameras at both stores.

“In some parts of the video you can see he is also using his hands to rub the backsides of these individuals,” Hyatt said.

The video, along with the stores’ cooperation and assistance from neighboring police agencies, ended with Phillips’ arrest less than 24 hours after the incidents were reported.

Phillips was booked into the Fayette County Jail and charged with seven counts of sexual battery.
