Man and woman found dead in suspected murder-suicide on Columbus’ Northeast Side

Columbus police say a man and a woman were found dead Tuesday in northeast Columbus in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

Officers responded to 2600 Lauffer Ravines Drive at approximately 5:25 p.m. for an unknown complaint and found two children unable to get into their apartment, Columbus police said.

Officers entered the apartment to check on the children’s parents and found two adults with gunshot wounds, police said. EMS pronounced both dead at the scene.

Police are not releasing their names until other family members have been notified.
