Man arrested after shooting at car during road rage incident in Spalding County

Police have arrested a traffic rage suspect accused of shooting at another car.

On Wednesday, Griffin police were called to investigate a road rage shooting.

Several victims at the scene reported that a man in a Chevrolet truck had “been aggressive in traffic several times” and then fired a gun at a moving car.

Officers did not say whether anyone was injured in the shooting. Police were eventually able to identify James McCullough as a suspect in the case.

McCullough was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, destruction of property, terroristic threats and acts, and reckless endangerment.

Police also found the weapon he used during the incident.

According to the Griffin Police Department, in the event of a road rage incident, you should change lanes safely and not respond aggressively.
