PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police have arrested a man accused of stealing more than $100,000 worth of jewelry from a Center City store in late July, authorities said Tuesday.
Chim Phu, 53, was charged with robbery with a firearm, violations of the Uniform Firearms Act, drug offenses and other related charges for his alleged role in a store robbery at 900 Arch Street on July 31.
After an arrest warrant was issued, police and SWAT teams arrested Phu on Saturday, Aug. 3, in the 1600 block of 28th Street in North Philadelphia, authorities said.
While arresting Phu, detectives found loaded firearms, ammunition and narcotics in the area.
But where is the jewelry? According to police, the collection of jewelry worth six figures has not yet been found.
