A suspect was arrested Thursday evening after allegedly shooting at plainclothes officers in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, according to police.
The plainclothes officers were near Ninth and Mission streets around 8:15 p.m. when the suspect fired bullets at them.
No one was hit by the gunfire and the suspect was taken into custody with the help of San Francisco sheriff’s deputies after a foot chase, police said.
