A man has been charged in the death of a 60-year-old woman, according to Fort Worth jail records.
Gary Howery, 42, was arrested Saturday on a charge of second-degree murder. Police began investigating after responding to a domestic disturbance call Saturday at an apartment complex in the 9200 block of Colt Street, according to a police report.
The victim was identified as Rhonda Howery, police said. The manner and cause of her death have not yet been determined, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
In an obituary for the victim’s late husband, Kenneth Howery, Gary Howery is listed as her son.
Police have not yet responded to the Star-Telegram’s request for information about the arrest.
