PIERZ, Minn. — A 57-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday morning after an explosion in a camper.
According to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, it happened just after 7 a.m. at the Pierz Park Campground.
The victim, from Pierz, was found badly burned in his RV, and first responders saw a cigarette on the floor and the gas oven turned on. There was no one else inside.
He was flown to Hennepin Healthcare and his condition has not yet been released.
