Man dead, other arrested after stabbing in Darke County

One man is dead and another is in custody after a stabbing in Darke County on Saturday.

As News Center 7 previously reported, Greenville police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Walnut Street at 10 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

When officers arrived on scene, they began rendering aid to 35-year-old Kyle Brown, who had been stabbed.

TRENDING STORIES:

Brown was flown to Miami Valley Hospital, where he later died, police said in a news release Sunday.

Police located Matthew McKnight, 48, near the crime scene and arrested him.

Further information about what led to the stabbing or the initial charges McKnight faced was not included in the news release.
