A man was killed and a woman seriously injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in Tempe on Thursday evening.
Around 8:30 p.m., Tempe police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex near Washington Street and North Center Parkway, police said. When they arrived, they found a man and a woman who had both been shot.
According to police, the woman was taken to a hospital. She remained in critical condition Friday afternoon, according to a Tempe Police spokesperson.
Police said the man died at the scene and was identified as 24-year-old Anthony Carlos.
There was no further information, police said.
