Authorities say a young man drowned in a Marlborough Reservoir on Sunday afternoon.
Crews responding to Fort Meadow Reservoir for a report of a drowning around 4 p.m. pulled the body of a 20-year-old Hispanic man from the water, according to police. He was taken to Marlborough Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the victim is being kept secret at this time.
Officials say the victim was fishing with his friends beforehand.
The incident is still under investigation.
No further information was immediately available.
