(CBS DETROIT) – Police arrested a suspect Friday after a man was shot dead at a Howell business.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., police responded to 100 W. Grand River Avenue, where they found the man with a gunshot wound.
According to the police, there is no danger to the public. The shooting did not take place near the Balloonfest and is not related to the event.
“This was an isolated incident and all individuals involved are currently cooperating with the investigation. We are not asking anyone to respond at the scene to allow investigators time to conduct their investigation,” Howell police said.
An investigation is underway.
