Phoenix police were investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Sunday evening near a Safeway supermarket.
The victim was 29-year-old Reminisce Biddle, according to a Monday news release from the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers responded to a call about a stabbing victim in the Safeway parking lot at Fifth Avenue and Osborn Road on Sunday around 8 p.m. They found Biddle with “at least one stab wound,” and he was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the department.
Detectives said they believe the stabbing occurred at Third Avenue and Osborn Road, after which Biddle “rode his bicycle to Fifth Avenue before collapsing” near the Safeway parking lot.
The department said Monday it continues to investigate the incident. It released no additional information and asked the public for help gathering information.
“Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and submit an anonymous tip,” Monday’s press release said. “Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.”
