CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was found shot Saturday evening in the city’s Little Village neighborhood.
Chicago police said officers responded to a shot fired in the 3100 block of West Cermak Road just after 10 p.m. There they found the man in an alley with a gunshot wound to his back. He died on the spot.
Further investigation revealed that a green SUV crashed into an unoccupied parked vehicle near the victim. Preliminary investigation also indicated that the victim may have been in the car before he was found by officers.
No arrests were made as of Sunday morning.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
