According to authorities, a man was taken to hospital with serious burns on Wednesday evening.
Boston police said they responded to Park Plaza behind the Four Seasons Hotel around 8:11 p.m. for a report of a person on fire.
When officers arrived at the scene they found a man with serious burns.
He was rushed to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
A Boston police spokesperson says they are investigating whether the incident was politically motivated.
No further information was available at this time.
