Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously injured Sunday morning.
At approximately 6:44 a.m., officers responded to 238 Auburn Avenue NE for reports of a person shot.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his neck.

He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
According to investigators, two men were arguing when the situation escalated and gunfire broke out.
The suspect ran away before police arrived.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Response Team are trying to determine the circumstances behind the fight and shooting.
