One man is in custody while another is in the hospital after a fight over a physical weapon in Huber Heights Saturday.

According to the Huber Heights Police Department, officers responded to the Mount Charles area just after 10:33 a.m. on a report of a person shooting a gun.

It was determined that two men got into an argument that led to a physical fight over a gun before shots were fired.
Video footage and photos at the scene showed that officers had cordoned off the area.
Officers arrested a man and paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital with an unrelated injury. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
The weapon was recovered at the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
