A man is dead after a shooting Friday morning near Hayward Avenue, police said.
Baltimore police officers responded Friday morning to the 3600 block of Hayward Avenue, where they discovered an unknown victim who appeared to have been shot to death.
Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene in Northwest Baltimore after 6:46 a.m., according to a department news release.
