COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minn. — A man died early Friday morning in a house fire in Columbia Heights.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says first responders were called to a duplex at Labelle Park on Circle Terrace Boulevard Northeast around 2:45 a.m.

Crews removed a man from one of the units, but he ultimately died at an area hospital. No one else was injured, according to the sheriff’s office.

Various agencies are assisting with the investigation.
