CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was shot and killed in the North Lawndale neighborhood early Wednesday.
Police said a 23-year-old man was found lying in the street after shots were fired in the 1100 block of South Francisco Avenue around 12:45 p.m.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead.
No one had been arrested Wednesday morning.
Area 4 detectives were investigating.
