CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was shot dead and two others were stabbed during a brawl on the city’s West Side Sunday morning.
Chicago police reported that at approximately 11:30 a.m., a group of people were in a fight at 3100 West Luis Munoz Marin Drive when shots were fired.
A 47-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he died.
Two men, 35 and 42, suffered stab wounds to the face. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated by Area 5 detectives.
