The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in the chest Saturday night.

According to police, a man in his 30s and a woman were arguing at the Deerpointe Manufactured Home Community around 12:50 p.m.
Officers arrived on scene due to an argument and found the man shot in the chest. When police arrived, the suspect had already left the scene.
According to police, the man and woman knew each other.

The man is expected to survive and the suspect has been arrested.
