A 30-year-old man was shot and killed on a Fort Worth highway Sunday after being involved in a crash, authorities said.
According to the Tarrant County coroner’s office, Emmanuel Torres died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Torres was shot around 2 a.m. on East Loop 820 and U.S. 287, authorities said.
Torres, who lived in Fort Worth, and an unknown police officer were involved in the crash and an argument before the shooting, authorities said.
The attacker left the scene. Fort Worth Police Homicide Detectives are investigating.
Police have not yet announced any arrests.
