Man shot outside Pembroke Pines barbershop, police say

A man was shot and wounded Friday afternoon at a barbershop in Pembroke Pines, police said.

The shooting happened at the Halftime Barber business, 15677 Pines Blvd., said Capt. Adam Feiner, a spokesman for the Pembroke Pines Police Department.

Paramedics took the man to hospital. Police have not released his condition or his name.

Feiner said police said a man pulled the trigger and was in custody, but they did not immediately release his name.

According to police, the two men knew each other and worked together.

“This investigation is still ongoing and additional information may be released as it becomes available,” Feiner said.

The Miami Herald called the barbershop, but no one answered the phone.
