Maui police are seeking help in finding missing Wailuku woman, 74

Maui Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Althea Woodson, 74, of Wailuku, who has been reported missing since Saturday.

Police said an acquaintance reported Woodson missing on Saturday after it was discovered she had left her home without notifying anyone.

She was last seen returning home Friday around 4:30 p.m., police said. However, when acquaintances checked on her around 10 p.m., they discovered that she had left the home.

Woodson is described as 6 feet tall and about 115 pounds, with black and gray hair and brown eyes. It is not known what clothes and shoes she was wearing when she left the home.

Police said Woodson does not have a cell phone or vehicle.

Anyone with information about Woodson is asked to contact MPD’s non-emergency number at 808-244-6400. In an emergency, please call 911 and refer to the MPD report number 24-029093.
