Mayor’s Charitable Fund is holding its first fundraiser to raise money for nearly two dozen local communities

The Mayor’s Charitable Fund hosted its first event since its founding on Saturday.

It is a group of almost twenty local mayors who created the fund to help people in need in their communities.

“We can help with a Thanksgiving dinner or a Christmas dinner or clothing or food or a food drive or something like that, and it’s to help people who are hurting and need help with things that the boro can’t normally do,” Mayor said Rob Falce of Munhall. said.

The group held an evening of music and food at the Grandview Golf Course in Braddock.

More communities are expected to join the cause.
