Underwood, a native of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, played five seasons in the NCAA from 2018-2023.
In 2023-2024, Underwood suited up for the Utah Grizzlies and recorded an assist in three regular season games. Over the course of his 167 career NCAA games, Underwood scored six goals and added 17 assists for 23 points.
With just six games of professional experience under his belt (he played three games with the AHL’s Colorado Eagles in 2022-2023), Underwood has yet to fully establish himself following his NCAA career. That said, Underwood makes smart, simple plays at both ends of the ice and could be a great addition to the Ghost Pirates.
