Mary Tyler Moore turned on the world with her megawatt smile when she starred in the iconic shows ‘Dick Van Dyke’ and ‘Mary Tyler Moore’ a generation ago. She died in 2017 at the age of 80 from complications due to diabetes, spending the last half of her life helping to raise more than $2 billion for research and awareness about the disease.
