MicroRNA discovery in worms leads to Nobel Prize in medicine

Two scientists’ groundbreaking research on worms has won them the Nobel Prize for Medicine. Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun discovered microRNA, small molecules that help control what cells do, which could help in the development of new drugs.
