MINNEAPOLIS — Tuesday will be a mild week with highs around average.
A weak disturbance moving through the state throughout the morning will bring mostly clouds, but possibly some light rain south of the Twin Cities. Partly sunny skies will emerge by the afternoon.
High pressure will remain for the rest of the week. Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 70s on Wednesday, and then into the upper 80s from Thursday through Saturday. Aside from isolated showers on Sunday, you can expect great outdoor weather this weekend.
We are likely to end September with the driest September on record, with only six hundredths of an inch of rain so far this month.
