MINNEAPOLIS— Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson announced a friendly bet between their cities on Wednesday The Minnesota Timberwolves will take on the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals.
If the Wolves beat the Mavericks, Johnson says he’ll send Frey candies from Oak Cliff chocolate shop Dude, Sweet Chocolate.

However, if the Mavericks beat the Wolves, Frey sends his favorite dessert from Dancing Bear Chocolate.

The Mavs defeated the Wolves 108-105 in Game 1 on Wednesday night. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday evening at Target Center.
