MINNEAPOLIS – A flood watch is in effect from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening, with 2 to 4 inches of rain expected to fall from two more rounds of storms.
The high will be 75 degrees in the Twin Cities on Friday. The first round of showers and storms will roll in during the morning hours and become more widespread by the afternoon.
The second round starts on Saturday morning around the same time. The succession of rain showers will add salt to the wounds of areas that are already flooded.
It will probably be a bit dry on Saturday night, and we may continue to do so for a few more days.
Highs will return to the 80s with a shot into the upper 80s on Monday and Tuesday.
