Missing minor with autism found safe after search in Gardner, police say

A missing youth with autism was found safe Friday morning after a search in Gardner.

Aiden Whalen was reported missing around 7 a.m. Friday morning, Gardner police said.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., the department announced that Whalen had been located.

“Thank you everyone for your assistance,” police wrote in an updated Facebook post.
