Chris covers the consumer sector for Argus. He was the No. 1 stock picker in the Home Discretionary sector and won Refinitiv’s 2019 StarMine US Analyst Award. He was the #1 Stock Picker in Food and Staples Retailing and won back-to-back US Analyst Awards in 2015 and 2016. In 2000, he received the prestigious Volunteer of the Year award from the New York Society of Security Analysts. , Chris worked at Bloomberg Financial Markets for 16 years. He was director of training and senior researcher for Bloomberg’s research department before joining the new Bloomberg magazine in 1993 as technical studies editor. He rose to become Executive Markets Editor of the publishing group. Chris co-authored the book ‘Investing in Small-Cap Stocks’, which was published in three US editions, an audiobook and two Chinese editions. Chris earned an MBA from Rutgers University. He is a CFA charterholder.
