Police have charged a 23-year-old Montgomery man with murder in the Nov. 10 death of a 6-month-old boy.
The MPD was notified of a six-month-old child with “life-threatening injuries” who was transported to a Birmingham hospital on November 7. The child was pronounced dead three days later.
Johnnie Taylor Sr. was taken into custody by MPD on Wednesday for the alleged crime. He is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
No other information about the case was immediately released by police.
