(CBS-DETROIT) – Here we go again. More snow will fall in Southeast Michigan Thursday through Friday.
This next clipper system will not produce “snow showers” or bands of fast-moving, very heavy snow, but will cause accumulations during the morning commute to work on Friday.
Between 1 and 3 inches of snow will fall Friday afternoon. Sanilac County will see between 2 and 4 inches due to its proximity to Lake Huron.
Most of the snow showers will end on Friday afternoon.
Next weekend the temperatures will drop like a stone.
Morning lows will be in the teens and single digits for Saturday and Sunday.
High temperatures will only be in the mid-20s this weekend, even if the sun finally makes an appearance.
Before Christmas and the start of Hanukkah, highs are around 40 degrees. Temperatures will continue to rise over the New Year holidays.
