More than 100 volunteers and contractors in Philadelphia help repair homes in Strawberry Mansion

Eight homes in the city’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood received some much-needed repairs at no cost Friday. It was an effort by Rebuilding Together Philadelphia. More than 100 volunteers and contractors worked to paint, remove carpets, install new flooring, replace smoke detectors and other repairs to make homes more energy efficient.
