June 5 – The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has opened applications for the 2024 MCSO Cadet Academy.
The academy will take place from 9am to 4pm, June 24 to 27. It is a free program, but there is limited seating. Drinks and lunch are provided every day.
“Students will gain practical knowledge on law enforcement topics including drug awareness, traffic stops, elementary and secondary education, firearm safety and more.” according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. In addition, the group will participate in daily physical training and can obtain a CPR certificate.
