With Christmas just around the corner, consumers are starting to prepare for the festive meal, although more and more consumers want to leave the cooking to someone else.
A survey from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts found that this year, 57% of consumers said they planned to eat out at a restaurant during the holidays. They cited reasons such as supporting local businesses, reducing the stress of preparing a large meal and freeing up more time to spend with loved ones.
For St. Cloud residents looking to make a similar choice, options will be limited, with most restaurants closed for the holidays, although some are offering takeout.
