MSP is urging drivers not to drink and drive to avoid the risk of accidents, Lt. Mike Shaw said.
“Once again we see someone who decided to get behind the wheel while impaired,” Shaw said. “This crash could have been much worse. We remind drivers not to get behind the wheel if they have a disability. There are too many other options available.”
The driver of the Ford F-150, a 20-year-old from Novi, has been arrested, according to MSP. The person is in pre-trial detention pending investigation by the public prosecutor, MSP said.
