‘Multiple’ Arrested After Pro-Palestinian March and Protest in Philadelphia

Several people were arrested Thursday night after a pro-Palestinian march and protest in Philadelphia.

According to NBC station WCAU, the protest took place outside City Hall.

The protest started peacefully with several people carrying signs calling for a ceasefire.

At one point, some protesters appeared to throw smoke bombs, WCAU reports.

Many protesters were arrested and taken to police vans.

It is unclear how many arrests were made. Philadelphia police had no comment Thursday night.
