– To amend, postpone, reject or approve a resolution authorizing and directing the calling and conducting of a special election in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, for the purpose of resolving the matter of levying and collecting a fee of eight hundred from the registered qualified voters of to submit to that district forty-nine thousandths of one percent (0.849%) Sales tax to be administered by the Muskogee County Public Safety Authority to provide funds for the purpose of site acquisition and construction, erection, furnishing, equipment, operation, maintenance, remodeling and repair of public safety buildings and facilities and carrying out public safety programs, operations and purposes, including police, fire, emergency management, 911, sheriff, ambulance and other public safety programs, operations and purposes and/or which are to be administered or promised for the payment of principal and interest on debts, including reimbursement debts, incurred by or on behalf of Muskogee County for such purpose; providing for a reduction of this sales tax to half a percent (0.50%); Providing voting title; providing notice to the Muskogee County Board of Elections, polling places and the conduct of such elections; and providing for the commencement and duration of such sales tax.
