Nov. 11—A sister’s health was no laughing matter for a woman who called Kalispell police after allegedly seeing a Facebook post about her sister being “flatlined” and being unable to get a hold of her. She asked that officers contact her if there were any updates. Officers spoke with the sister who reportedly said her sibling often turns on welfare checks when she jokingly writes something on Facebook; everything was going well and she was tired of the police checking on her when her sister called. Officers relayed the information to the concerned sister and informed her it was a prank.
Two people tried in vain to enter a house. The residents asked for extra patrols.
A store employee followed a man, who allegedly stole a pair of gloves and a lamp, into a supermarket and confronted him about the theft. The man allegedly gave the gloves to the employee and fled with a shopping cart. Officers arrested the man and fined him.
Arguing colleagues were involved in a ‘hostile workplace incident’ in which one man punched and pushed another and tried to slam an office door in his face, which he blocked with his foot. One of the men claimed that the other had been harassing him for a week because of his work.
Someone reportedly saw a man down the street trying to move parking lot dividers with his truck.
A woman with dark red hair tied in a bun and wearing gray leggings and brown boots allegedly stole two pairs of shoes and left them in a tan Ford Explorer with a broken rear window.
