Nancy Pelosi undergoes hip replacement surgery after fall in Europe

A spokesperson said former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is “on the mend” after undergoing hip replacement surgery in Germany. The 84-year-old fell during a conference trip in Luxembourg on Friday and was then transported to a US military hospital in Germany for the operation.
