NASA’s ‘Hidden Figures’ Receive Congressional Gold Medal

The women who contributed to NASA’s success in the space race were recognized Wednesday with the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian honor bestowed by Congress. Among them were the four black women who became known as the “Hidden Figures.”
