Tesla has announced it will recall nearly 700,000 vehicles due to a problem with its tire pressure monitoring systems.
The recall affects 694,304 vehicles, including the Cybertruck, Model 3 and Model Y, according to a letter from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The announcement follows a series of other Tesla recalls throughout 2024, affecting millions of vehicles.
Tesla Model 3, Y and Cybertrucks recalled
Tesla’s recall number is SB-24-00-018. Drivers will be notified by mail on February 15, 2025. You can confirm whether or not your vehicle is part of a current recall by searching your vehicle identification number (VIN) online at service.tesla.com/en-US/vin-recall-search.

Tesla Service Centers in the Lower Hudson Valley
There are several Tesla service centers in New York, including two in Westchester.
According to the Tesla website, there are showrooms and service centers at 250 Tarrytown Road in White Plains and 115 Kisco Ave. in Mount Kisco.
Other nearby service centers are available in Brooklyn, Long Island and New Jersey.
Check for software updates for your Tesla
Teslas can receive regularly scheduled updates with new features and patches when connected to Wi-Fi.
To see what updates are available for your vehicle, select the “Software” tab on your vehicle’s touchscreen. New updates appear as a notification on your touchscreen display, with the option to install immediately or schedule later. Updates are also available to view in the Tesla app.
