The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office hosted another successful gun permit event on Saturday.
The most recent satellite event took place in South Park and according to the sheriff’s office, 887 permits were processed.
The office is holding these first-come, first-served events for people who can’t make it to the courthouse during normal business hours. To get a permit, those attending will need a valid Pennsylvania ID or driver’s license, a completed application form and $20 in cash.
