CHICAGO (CBS) — A Neil Young & Crazy Horse concert scheduled for Northerly Island on Thursday evening was canceled hours before it was due to start.
The Huntington Bank Pavilion said on social media at 4:56 p.m. that the concert had been postponed — but did not specify a new date. The concert was scheduled to start at 7:30 PM
“Save your tickets and stay tuned for more information,” the Huntington Bank Pavilion said on social media.
It was not specified whether Young or anyone else involved in the concert was ill or what the sick person was suffering from.
Young is in the middle of his Love Earth Tour with Crazy Horse – consisting of Nils Lofrgen, Billy Talbot and Ralph Molina. Young has worked with Crazy Horse on and off since 1968.

They last toured together a decade ago, and on their current tour they have promised to “treat fans to a garage band style of rock music that is sure to make them feel like it’s gone back in time.”
Neil Young & Crazy Horse recently released a new live album, “Fu##in’ Up,” which Pop Matters described as a “track-by-track tribute to ‘Ragged Glory’ (1990), the blistering sixth album” by Young and the group.
According to Pop Matters, the album was recorded last November during a private show at Toronto’s Rivoli.
